Hearing comments by Dave Whelan about Liverpool having lost all its heart has, confermed what I feel .Him saying about their trip to Anfield earlier this year . "There was know one in the board room", no one around the place was emplty , "The club has lost all its heart"  The club  have had manager after manager over the last to 2 years. We are run by people who wanted to change the rules of English Football have elephants on the pitch all sorts shit tacky gimicks . We are owned by people who run and own a fucking rounders team . I respeced Dave Whelan the fact he will let Liverpool approach Martinez . He is that English old time football character that Liverpool need . Not some money chasing yanks that hide under the guise of wanting to bring Liverpool back to its true greatness . My first comment after the Hicks and Gillette took over the club was . "THEY WILL TRY TO RIP US OFF ,OR WE WILL TRY TO RIP THEM OFF" . Sadly I was right . When FSG took over the club I would like to say I thought different . But I don't . If some one like  Dave Whelan was to go in for the club I would be a lot happier . Some one from these Islands who has football in their blood . I feel like Dave Whelan is feeling sorry for Liverpool letting us talk to Martinez . As his honor as a English Football icon to let his manager go. So he can save a great football club .That would be his contribution , After all he will go and appoint a new manager who will give heart and sole to  Wigan Football Club . Because he knows what makes English Football tick . With his comments about his trip to Anfield this season,   I think he genuinely fears for the future of are club . We are in big danger of going down the same road Leeds did . Kenny saw this it was worrying the fuck out of him . He would of turned the club around . But not with the current owners . Who are after a quick buck . But keeping their cards close to there chest . 

Liverpool supporters, we are heading back to square one. The ship is taking on water and listing again . This time it might go down . Morten Olsen has confirmed 20 of the Denmark players he will take to UEFA EURO 2012, with three further call-ups to be announced by 24 May at the latest.

Perhaps the most surprising inclusion is Évian Thonon Gaillard FC midfielder Thomas Kahlenberg, who has not been involved with the national team since autumn 2010. "He has played many games recently, and we have seen them all," said Olsen. "He may not be a fast player, but he is a fast-thinking player, and he can be a good asset at the tournament."

In addition to the 20 definite names, Manchester United FC goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim defender Jannik Vestergaard and FC Groningen forward Nicklas Pedersen have also been invited to join Denmark's training camp. The hopeful trio, though, are not assured of making up the remainder of the final squad next week. "I am at least going to watch the games this coming weekend before I decide," said Olsen.

Denmark face Brazil on 26 May and Australia on 2 June in their two pre-finals friendlies. Seven days later they meet the Netherlands in their opening Group B match in Kharkiv before switching to Lviv to play Portugal and Germany.

THE 1992 WIN 

June 1992 may not have been the best month for decorating kitchens, but it is loaded with memories for football romantics everywhere. After failing to qualify, Denmark were invited to replace Yugoslavia at the last minute, and they gladly ditched their summer plans to become unlikely champions of Europe.

"I should have put in a new kitchen but then we were called away to play in Sweden," recalled Danish coach Richard Møller Nielsen shortly after their triumph. "The kitchen is finished now. I had a professional decorator do it." In a further blow to their prospects, brilliant playmaker Michael Laudrup decided against taking part, so it was no surprise when they began by drawing with a workmanlike England team 0-0. Nor were there any shocks when they succumbed 1-0 to their Swedish hosts, who were given real attacking verve by newcomers Tomas Brolin and Martin Dahlin. What was more out of place was the 2-1 victory over Michel Platini's France in their last Group 1 outing which earned them a semi-final berth as runners-up to Sweden.

If the changes blowing through the continent had affected Group 1, they were also keenly felt in Group 2, where Germany fielded a unified team for the first and the now-dissolved USSR competed as the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Holders the Netherlands came out on top, however, with exciting young striker Dennis Bergkamp making the difference against the CIS before scoring in their 3-1 win over second-placed Germany.

Bergkamp also found the target for the Netherlands in the semi-finals, yet with Henrik Larsen striking twice for Denmark it took Frank Rijkaard's late equaliser to take the match into extra time. And with no more goals forthcoming, exuberant shot-stopper Peter Schmeichel added to the buzz surrounding his displays by denying 1988 hero Marco van Basten in the shoot-out, diving low to his left to catapult the Danes into the final.

Møller Nielsen's men were far from finished there. Facing Berti Vogts's Germany in Gothenburg after Karlheinz Riedle's brace had eliminated Sweden 3-2, they stunned the watching world when John Jensen drove in after 18 minutes. Goals were a rarity for the midfielder but this was no ordinary tournament and Kim Vilfort completed the fairytale by adding a second. Try as the Germans might to hit back, an inspired Schmeichel kept out everything that was thrown at him– including the kitchen sink.

Search for new Manager begins immediately as owners pay tribute to 'legend' Dalglish

Fenway Sports Group (FSG) and Liverpool Football Club announced that Kenny Dalglish is to leave his post today as Manager after having his contract terminated.

After a careful and deliberative review of the season, the Club came to the decision that a change was appropriate. It is not a decision that was reached lightly or hastily.

The search for a new Manager will begin immediately.

Principal owner John Henry was fulsome in his praise for the outgoing Manager.

"Kenny will always be more than a championship winning manager, more than a championship winning star player. He is in many ways the heart and soul of the club. He personifies everything that is good about Liverpool Football Club. He has always put the Club and its supporters first. Kenny will always be a part of the family at Anfield.

"Our job now is to identify and recruit the right person to take this Club forward and build on the strong foundations put in place during the last 18 months."

Liverpool Chairman Tom Werner said it was a tough decision, but ultimately one that needed to be made.

"Kenny came into the Club as Manager at our request at a time when Liverpool Football Club really needed him. He didn't ask to be Manager; he was asked to assume the role. He did so because he knew the Club needed him. He did more than anyone else to stabilize Liverpool over the past year-and-a-half and to get us once again looking forward. We owe him a great debt of gratitude.

"However, results in the Premier League have been disappointing and we believe to build on the progress that has already been made, we need to make a change.

"We are committed to delivering success for our supporters and our ambition remains resolute to return this great Club to the elite of England and Europe, where it belongs."

Kenny Dalglish's departure brings to an end his second spell at the Club where, as a player, he won numerous honours, including six English league titles and three European Cup trophies. As Manager he won three league titles, two FA Cups and of course this season, the Carling Cup.

Dalglish said he is proud to have served such a great Club.

"It has been an honour and a privilege to have had the chance to come back to Liverpool Football Club as Manager. I greatly appreciate the work that Steve, Kevin, the players and all of the staff put in during my time and feel proud that we delivered the Club's first trophy in six years winning the Carling Cup and came close to a second trophy in the FA Cup Final. Of course I am disappointed with results in the league, but I would not have swapped the Carling Cup win for anything as I know how much it meant to our fans and the Club to be back winning trophies.

"Whilst I am obviously disappointed to be leaving the football club, I can say that the matter has been handled by the owners and all concerned in an honourable, respectful and dignified way and reflects on the quality of the people involved and their continued desire to move the football club forward in the same way as when they arrived here.

Has Paul McCartney got his cloud busting skills out after absence of 8 years . I wonder how much it cost , has the cost of cloud busting , gone sky high excuse the pun in the space of 8 years, I was at Glastonbury at the time this is how we first heard about it .

Festival organiser Michael Eavis has announced plans to keep the rain at bay, using a home-made device that supposedly breaks up menacing looking clouds before they reach the site.

The idea to use the cloud buster follows hot on the heels of the example set by Sir Paul McCartney, who earlier this week employed a similar technique to clear the skies over St Petersburg, Russia, as he played his 3000th concert.

The former Beatle has apparently inquired into the measures being employed by Glastonbury to protect the tens of thousands of festival goers expected to watch his Pyramid Stage headline set on Saturday night.

Despite dry weather being forecast for today (Thursday) and Friday, heavy rain is expected to return on Saturday.

In light of McCartney's concerns, and following two days of rainfall already, Eavis is turning to a home-made cloud busting device he last used at Glastonbury in 1971.

He said: "I had a call from Sir Paul's people saying, "what are you doing to prevent the rain?" This thing looks like an anti-aircraft gun and you point it at the clouds. It is all done through the orgone energy thing Reich believed in."

Eavis is referring to the Austrian physician/scientist, Wilhelm Reich, who claimed to have discovered "an unknown energy which exists in all living matter and in the cosmos".

He called this energy orgone, the substance which Eavis' cloud-buster can supposedly remove from the atmosphere. When taken away it turns cloud into rain.

The device will be set up a few miles upwind of Worthy Farm, with the intention of breaking up the rain clouds before they reach the festival site.

If all else fails, the weather is expected to improve again by Sunday - but that won't help Sir Paul.

While we are still treading water as a club , Chelsea are announcing that they have put a bid in to convert the iconic Battersea Power Station into their new stadium . God I will be so jealous if they pull that one off . Battersea Power Station would make an amazing stadium . Imagine approaching that fucker the hairs on the neck would be dancing. Whether you are a player or a supporter . Giving Chelsea such a boost ,making it a more iconic tourist attraction then it is now . Very very cleaver move . So a chavy plastic flag waving bunch of toilet traders are going to have a home we would all die for . Shit Shit Shit .

I love Anfield so much I grew up in the area ,many great memory’s as most will know . But after the form at Anfield over the last 5 seasons , Yes home form has been bad for while now . It may be time to cut loose. But replace Anfield with something befitting its greatness and memory . Build a stadium in the Memory of the 96 and the 39 .

Something off the wall and unique, Something acoustically amazing visually breath taking , So Chelsea's plan if it comes off will be the blue print . But it will always be Battersea Power Station they would still have no history . We could build something that celebrates the modern game . Something for the art/football loving ,great city, that is Liverpool..
