FIFA TITLE TRACKS 2002-2012
FIFA TITLE TRACKS 2002-2012
Here are the official title tracks for EA FIFA GAMES since 2002 . With the exception of \2011 which for some reason they never had one but 11 feature tracks . In 2005 they used some D.J . I have put the ten in order of of which I think works best with the game play, or I just like the best . To jog your memory of the years there is some info of the progression of the game year by year, Oh of course the covers click the link next to the track to hear the official track of that year. It will also take you to in game tracks that you think should have been the official track as I have done on 2011 .
MY TOP TEN IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE (do you agree???? )
For
FIFA
Football 2002,
power bars for passes were introduced, and dribbling reduced in order
to attain a higher challenge level. The power bar can also be customized to suit the gamer's preference. The game also includes
club emblems for many more European clubs .

FIFA
Football 2003 features
completely new gameplay from the previous titles. EA revamped the
outdated graphics used in FIFA
2001 and
2002,
and introduced new graphics featuring more detailed stadiums,
players, and kits. Club Championship Mode was introduced with the
feature of playing against 17 of Europe's top clubs in their own
stadiums and the fans singing their unique chants and songs. A
TV-style broadcast package gave highlights at half-time and
full-time, as well as comprehensive analysis. One of the most
anticipated new features was EA Sport's "Freestyle Control"
which allows the user to flick the ball on and lay it off to team
mates. Other additions include greater likenesses of players such as
Thierry Henry and Ronaldinho, as well as realistic player responses.
FIFA Football 2003 was also the first game in the series to use the
EA Trax.

While
not adding much to the game engine, the biggest new inclusion in FIFA
Football 2004 is
secondary divisions, which allow the player to take lower ranked
teams into the top leagues and competitions (a promotion/relegation
system was present since the 2000 edition, but none up until this one
featured second-tier leagues). A new gameplay feature dubbed "off
the ball" was introduced, which is the ability to simultaneously
control two players, in order, for example, to move a second player
into the box in anticipation of a pass.

FIFA
Football 2005 was
released much earlier than the usual late October date to obtain a
head start over Pro Evo 4 and avoid clashing with EA Sports' own Fifa
Street The game features the return of the create-a-player mode, as
well as an improved Career mode. The biggest difference compared to
previous titles in the series is the inclusion of first-touch
gameplay which provides gamers with the ability to perform
"real-life" tricks and passes. It is also the first version
to feature the full. Mexican League The game has no opening video,
but its soundtrack is headlined by British DJ Paul Oakfield who
composed the FIFA
Theme especially
for the game, using some sounds from the game such as crowd noises
and commentary. This was the last title released for the original
PlayStation in the US. The game also features authentic crowd chants

FIFA's
developers made a complete overhaul of the game engine for this
installment of the game, claiming a dramatic increase in the control
of play, having rewritten more than half the game's code. In addition
to a renovation of the engine, which discards the "off the ball"
system, the developers boasted a significantly more involved Career
mode and the introduction of "team chemistry" which
determines how well team members play together. This installment
breaks with the long tradition of commentary from Match of the
Days,John Motson
and
(more recently) Ally McCoist, who are replaced by ITV's
CliveTyldesley and former Sky Sports
pundit
Andy Gray, who had already worked in the series as guest commentator.
One
of the new features in FIFA
06 was
a special "retro" which features nostalgia of the game.
Inside it includes an unlockable classic biographies section, a
memorable moments video compilation which features ten of the most
memorable moments as judged by the FIFA
06 developers,
a video compilation with a retrospective view of every game in the
FIFA series and the chance to play the first ever game in the FIFA
series which was titled as "FIFA 94". The game also
features for the first time a Classic 11 team consisting of great
football legends and a World 11 team consisting of current great
superstars. Both teams have the Cardiff Millennium Stadium as their
primary ground. These clubs must be unlocked in the "Fan Shop".

The
main differences from the previous game are a new "Interactive
Leagues" function, new stadiums such as the new Wembley Stadium
and Emirates Stadium, and the ability to create custom teams and
Turkcell Super League
returns
after seven years of absence from the series. The game's front-end
and graphics engine remain largely the same. The X Box 360 version
uses a completely new game engine which was created from scratch for
the system. This Xbox 360 version also features a much reduced team
line-up, completely removing all lower division teams and focusing on
the four main European leagues, plus the Mexican Clausura and
national teams.

Fifa 08 introduced
a new game mode called "Be a Pro", in which the player
controls only a single player on the field. This version also
introduced a larger club section including the League of Ireland and
the Hyundai A -League of Australia for the first time. Unlike Fifa
06and 07 however,Fifa08 does not include any memorable moments or
season highlights. FIFA 08 does not have a version for the original
Xbox which means that Fifa 08was the last game of the series to
feature on the console. The Xbox has taken over permanently since
FIFA 08.
The
debut version for the Wii introduced motion controls for shooting, as
well as three mini-games that make use of the Wii Remote

the feature is activated through microtransactions, gamers have

has also been improved in FIFA
09,
with a feature called "FIFA 09 Clubs" allowing players to
form or join clubs and field their strongest team online. The game
has met with generally positive reception from reviewers.
Tyldesley
and Gray

provide the commentary in the English version. However in the PS3 and
Xbox 360 versions of the game, Tyldesley is replaced by Martin Tyler
For the first time, users can also purchase extra commentator voices

demands placed on the player, and achievements based on the player's
particular position. The games also features 50 stadiums and 31
leagues, among which the Russian Premier League is introduced to the
series (except for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions). It also
includes 360 degrees player control instead of the 8-direction

TOP LIVERPOOL BANDS THAT HAVE PLAYED GLASTONBURY
THE BUNNY MEN
The Bunnymen Glasto 85 |
Ian and the boys first major
slot at Glastonbury was back in 1985 . It was a mud bath it never
stopped raining my first Glastonbury no tent. But I wanted to see the
Bunnymen borrowed a car parked in country lane 2 miles from site.
Looking in the boot before we left the car. Amazingly there was 3 all
in one yacht survival suits .Left in there by mates brother, who I
borrowed the car off. Bunking in got chased by a bull in a field a
mile from the site . It was like something from a Carry On film. . So
we lived in them suits for 3 days before the Glastonbury mud eat
through them. The Bunnymen played a great set , McCulloch making many
comments about the weather and mud . But Eavis has got a streak of
Scouse humour in him , The Bunnymen have been invited back many times
the latest a couple of years ago , to headline the John Peel tent .
John was a big fan.
Click link to play
THE LIGHTNING SEEDS
The Lighting Seeds first big
slot was in 1998 coming on the back of the footie song with Baddel
and Skinner . Which out doubt was the biggest footie song hit of all
time . With probably the exception of You’ll Never Walk Alone,
World wide must of sold more units over the years. But I recall
seeing them at Pilton Pop on Pilton Village Green . Mr Eavis puts it
on every year in late Summer to raise money for the Village , All the
big names have played there it is not very well publicised but word
of mouth sells about 5 to 8 .000 tickets each year . Ian Broudie
point blank refusing to play 3 lions to a screaming crowd . It was
defiantly the musicians version of being type cast so who can blame
him . But the Life of Riley to name but one good tune . Still getting
a lot of air play now , Rightfully so . After all it is easy to
name the Liverpool Bands that Ian Broudie has not produced or been
involved with . He also gave a job to a Beatles son (Zak Starkey) Well in mate.
Click link to watch some vids
My personal favourite have
played Glastonbury a few times to huge crowds . The last time with a
guest appearance from Mark Ronson .Who played on the Zuton track
Valerie , which he covered with Amy Winehouse on vocals, a huge hit
. But to me it will always be a Zuton number. I recall saying to a
female singer in an open mike night in Bristol doing a rendition of
Valerie . “Its good to see a Zuton number being sung” . She
looked at me as if I was stupid . “No its Amy Winehouse” I felt
like saying your music knowledge is as good as your voice, but I
resisted . The first time I saw the Zutons at Glastonbury there was
loads of my mates on site from Liverpool and loads of my mates from
down south , All into the band . We all met it was the meeting of the
two groups, strange old feeling , but a brilliant laugh the set
rocked with loads of Scouse humour . Come on Dave, Abi and co, new
album for Glastonbury 2013 . !!NICE!!!

The Wombats first
Glastonbury slot was in 2008 the same year, They where the the
opening act at the Echo Arena in Liverpool’s City of Culture year
.There music is described as Indietronic With mad stage antics and
props. Gave the mosh pit a whirl with my son he had turned me on to
The Wombats. He gave the mosh pit a 9/10 for madness,he has been in a
few . More to come at Glastonbury form these kids I think watch this
space.

THE CORAL
Always welcome at
Glastonbury they seem to go from strength to strength . They are more
the fine wine of Liverpool or the Wirral to be more precise .
Gaining friends from all over and influencing many including the
Zutons . Also working with, you guessed it Mr Broudie and Portishead
to name a couple . First playing Glastonbury in the mid 90s . Some
how they stick to there guns being appreciated from all quarters .
They are going to be around for a long time thank fuck. So for the
Coral I would say there will many more Glastonbury’s to be tucked
under their belts bring them on. I can see them doing a set on the
Acoustic Stage ,If you ask any body who knows Glastonbury well the
sound in that tent is to die for . It would suit the Coral to a tee .

Carroll saves the day watch highlights
Carrol after his winner at Blackburn |
Andy Carroll went some way to justifying his 35 mill price tag by putting in a shift and a half. Topping the cake by scoring the winner in the 90 minute . In a amazing match that saw Liverpool getting a goal keeper sent off for the second time in as many weeks . Also letting a 2 goal lead slip but unlike against QPR, Carroll popped up to score a excellent header to claim the 3 points . Lets hope this is the kick start he needs to move on to be a great Liverpool player . To prove all the doubters wrong especially !!BITTER BLUE NOSES YNWA!!

Has CARROLL missed the plane ?
It has been an event packed week for Andy Carroll who just a year ago was amongst England’s most valued assets. He was “A proper England number 9” who looked destined to form a fearsome international partnership with Wayne Rooney which would last a decade. This weekend however as he returned to Newcastle he threw himself to the ground instead of sliding the ball into an empty net. What has happened to England’s £35 million man?
The giant Geordie once had the world at his considerably large feet but Sunday represented an all-time low. Booed at his former stomping ground mercilessly he looked a shadow of the bustling bundle of terror which Kenny Dalglish paid £35 million for. Carroll had no choice in the move to Liverpool, the 35 million was a ridiculous over valuation and it is likely Mike Ashley and co accepted the money with a bemused look followed by a euphoric laugh. For Carroll to then have his every touch booed at the club he grew up supporting is harsh; he didn’t hand in a transfer request, sulk for a move or fly to Argentina and remain there for 6 months.
The Newcastle faithful should be grateful to Carroll. It was his sale after all that allowed Newcastle to enter a new phase of development and finance deals for some real gems. And for Dalglish to take off Carroll with the game lost and a hostile reception guaranteed was nothing short of disgraceful. Carroll obviously agreed and fired abuse at his manager.
For the PLANE at the moment Carroll is probably in the “maybe” pile, he has the rest of the season to stake his claim and let’s hope he manages it. Carroll can be a physically imposing specimen. When on form he holds the ball up as well as any striker in Europe and terrorises defenders in the air. A fit and firing Carroll of old would be a real asset at the Euro’s, and alongside Rooney would pose a devastating threat.
To elevate his chances from maybe to definite he needs to return to his bustling best, to run the channels and use his physicality. Unfortunately Liverpool’s style of play doesn’t suit the player who needs to be the focal point because he certainly isn’t a poacher in the form of Fowler or a complete world class striker like Torres was on Merseyside. He is a battering ram, a nuisance who creates chances rather than finishes them.
Carroll didn’t set his own asking price and he almost certainly regrets that whoever did set it, set it so high. Let him be what he is and play to his strengths.
Come the end of the season Carroll will hope to be boarding the plane and to do that he simply needs to go back to basics. To work as hard as he can for his team and to become a nightmare to mark. A few goals wouldn’t hurt his chances either.
